Wedding Vendors

Wedding professionals with the desire to succeed!

I know with the economy, some of us are doing extremely well, some of mediocre and some, could do better.

How are we doing with our marketing? Are we taking the time to be creative? Have you been forced to lower or raise some of your fees?

I started being creative in package my services and offering options without taking a huge dive in my fees.

Here are some idea
Create promotional packages and group some of your services together.
Offer groups consultations by categories; in-laws, budgeting, vendor conflicts, etc
Make your newsletter more appealing and send it out more often and invite other vendors to contribute articles
Always offer coupons

Please share your creative marketing ideas.

I have my hand in many things. But one creative marketing option fell in my lap about 3 weeks ago..(It was God!) I have added fund raising coordinator to my list of services through my event planning. I have created a year long package for business/organizations if they need someone to help with their fund raising ideals all year. I have also partnered with a few people to get these ideals into place reasonably.

My travel business (which is part of my LLC) has a newsletter that comes out every week. Sometimes twice a week with tips on travel. I have advertising space for all on for a great rate.....to minimize the cost of sending out the newsletter. I also offer free gifts for those that forward the newsletter on and a new subscriber joins because of that.

This is economy has not effective me negatively, it just gives me more to work with.

So much fun

I just had the best day ever. Me and my family just spent the entire day at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp gala. You should have seen people bidding $30,000 and up for really neat things. Alec Baldwin was there. My son was so excited because he had met him a couple of years ago and Mr. Baldwin remembered him. It was the hightlight of my son's summer. It was such a great time and millions was raised for camp.
