Looking for vendors willing to collaborate

In this tough economy I was trying to think of ways that maybe we can all help each other. I have two ideas that I hope some of you would be interested in. The first idea is putting together either a bridal show or engagement party. We could invite recently engaged couples as well as peple looing to plan other types of events. We could charge a small fee to cover our expenses which will hopefull be minimal. I was hoping we could find a venue maybe a hotel looking to get some exposure that would rent to us cheap or for free if they do not have anything planned for a specific night or day. There would be a few vendors and we would decorate together and hopefully a photographer would be willing to take pictures. We would need to look into low cost advertising for the event.

The second thing is getting a few vendors together to create a package for clients. For example as a planner I would offer my services to a client and if they booked a certain numver of vendors in the group we would give the client a discount. As a planner maybe I would a few florist in the group maybe 1 or 2 local and another set in north jersey, philadelphia and delaware. We would come up with package as a group and that would be what we offerred and of course not every client will need all the services.

Hi Keisha - I would be interested. I sell Pampered Chef and we do offer a Bridal Registry. I'm about 2 hours from AC (Lehigh Valley, PA) and could easily make a trip up there. My husband is a DJ and could also offer up packages for the wedding music.
