I just recently had a client ask me to design an invitation for their nephew who was going into the Airforce. The client had written their own poem which I was happy to include, with a few minor punctuation corrections, which I explained with a polite note that I had done so. I get my preliminary design back - no problems with the design, but would I please put the punctuation back the way she had it as she felt it flowed better that way.

I complied, but I'm still left with the question: is that invitation going to be a reflection on me and my work? Should I have pushed harder for the punctuation to be corrected or is the client always right?

So much fun

I just had the best day ever. Me and my family just spent the entire day at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp gala. You should have seen people bidding $30,000 and up for really neat things. Alec Baldwin was there. My son was so excited because he had met him a couple of years ago and Mr. Baldwin remembered him. It was the hightlight of my son's summer. It was such a great time and millions was raised for camp.
