Hi my fellow wedding professionals!
I'm in need of your help as you can see from my title! lolol! Well I've been chosen to be the sponsoring host for a workshop for singles and engaged couples i believe it's next month or november. still waiting for the correct date. The workshop/seminar is called "What You Need to Know Before You Say I Do". I'm waiting for the email from the company who to enlighten me of all the info I need to get ready for this as well as to promote the program.
It's a big promotional push for me as well get to meet potential clients (crossing my fingers)! There a part of the workshop where I have to do a presentation about planning your big day. Basically talking about why hire a wedding planner such as myself - Majestic Moments, and how that benefits them. i know i want to promote my vendors, so I'll be displaying some of thier work as well.
I was told to have a lot of brochures and business cards there. There'sa a break in the workshops where they get to chill as well talk to me and want to set appointments to hire me or gain more info about the business. But I'm different and don't do things like everyone does, as past hosts have done at these workshops. I want something to catch thier attention and keep them engrossed and want to hire me as a planner. I know I want to do a door prize for an engaged couple who hires me, and something for a single person for them to keep me in mind when it does come to thier big day, with Majestic Moments name on the product somewhere. Also a goodie bag or a token for all those who come out.
If you have any suggestions or ideas or can help me out in anyway to do this or better idea, please let me know!

Hello Ladies... sorry I have not been as active as before...I have only been able to get online about 5 times a day ..lol. I just did a big " Tiffany and Co." Birthday Bash ... It was great ( pic's will follow soon).. and I'm now planning my son's 7th Birthday party for this weekend. I just wanted to welcome all the new members to our group ... I look forward to talking with you soon.

I am so happy to be part of event decor and ideas. Can't wait to see what everyone has to say. I have a very exciting job coming up 10/31/09, very large, goth wedding to plan. As time goes past, I will be picking many brians here.
