- To introduce myself properly you can call me a MOMpreneur. I started this online business 5 yrs ago and it was mainly a side biz since I had been a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent for 12 years in Manhattan. Last year I had given birth to my daughter 3 months earlier than she was due and a total of 3 1/2 month NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit stay. Once this happened, I decided to focus on Family first since my daughter needed my full attention with Meds & Monitors and so forth. So.....I quit my job and decided to focus on my daughter and my online biz with this time I had. I have no regrets about this decision, I have made so many connections through word of mouth, Trade Shows etc. and I have had the best experiences with my daughter and the great satisfaction of knowing that with my help she is happy & Healthy. I am basically an On-line retailer who sells many items such as Invites, Favors, Gifts, Jewelry, Accessories, Baby Items, Pre-made baby gifts, Housewares and much more that is being added daily. I am possibly looking to step into the event/wedding consulting biz. Not really sure since I want to appropriate my time accordingly. My on-line store caters to Bridal, Baby, or anyone looking to have any type of event. I have affiliations with 40+ companies so I can offer clients many options.I set up my own webpage so it may look a bit amateur but for a stay at home mom with no prior knowledge of HTML it works for now. I hope to make great connections to build my biz. I am open to any suggestions that may help me and my business. So much fun
I just had the best day ever. Me and my family just spent the entire day at the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp gala. You should have seen people bidding $30,000 and up for really neat things. Alec Baldwin was there. My son was so excited because he had met him a couple of years ago and Mr. Baldwin remembered him. It was the hightlight of my son's summer. It was such a great time and millions was raised for camp.
